Further electromagnetic and induced polarization work has been carried out in the Tarcoola Blocks mine and Brown Hill areas at Tarcoola to extend and substantiate previous investigations (ref. RB 59/128, 23 November 1964). The latest results establish the validity of IP anomalies in the Brown Hill area, but also show that the EM method is an unsuccessful geophysical tool for use in the Tarcoola Blocks mine area. Furthermore, inconclusive IP results were obtained in this latter area, so more work is recommended to see if valid IP results can be gained. An appendix to this report deals with the findings of a related ground magnetic survey of the areas tested.
