Investigation of the site for a proposed two million gallon capacity, reinforced concrete surface tank at Para Hills, was requested by the Director and Engineer in Chief, E. & W.S. Department in a letter dated 17th January, 1967, to the Director of Mines. Exploration has been confined to an examination of surface exposures and two test pits 5ft. and 6ft. deep respectively.
