Older volcanic basalt outcrops in the north bank of Salt Creek 7 miles north of Dergholm (Section 42, Parish Dergholm, Victoria). Investigation of this olivine basalt flow with amygdules of zeolite, by surface mapping, auger and diamond drilling has shown moderate to complete weathering and extensive closely spaced jointing. Use as aggregate for bitumized road surfaces is not recommended.
