A series of seismic refraction traverses were surveyed both on land and over the river in the vicinity of Murray Bridge. In areas covered by overburden and water it was possible to map a high speed refractor and obtain accurate estimates of depth to this refractor. The results obtained appeared to correspond closely with other information available from bores and outcrop mapping.
