Results of a regional gravity survey conducted in the Northern Adelaide Plains and Hills areas of the ADELAIDE sheet area indicate the presence of several faults, including the northern extension of the Para Fault. The profiles and contour map compiled from these results provide an explanation for the non-occurrence of River Wakefield Group sediments south of the Light River.
