Work copper mineralisation occurs along the northern margin of a probable intrusion of Willouran diapiric material into siltstones of the Wilpena Group. The mineralisation is mainly secondary copper carbonates but quartz-carbonate veins containing chalcopyrite were located in the western limits of the two mineral claims. A large orebody is not expected but better grade primary and secondary mineralisation in the western areas warrants further testing. Two areas for drilling have been indicated. The possibility of rare earth mineralisation may also warrant further investigation.
