Pict Limited required assistance from the Department of Mines to obtain a minimum supply of 0.67 cusecs and a maximum supply of 0.87 cusecs at their property on the outskirts of Millicent part Section 573, Hundred of Muirhead. On receipt of a request dated 16th April, 1969, a 620 foot deep borehole was drilled. This borehole is recorded in the Department of Mines records as No. 521057301. The borehole was pumped at a maximum rate of 1.6 cusecs (35,800 g.p.h.). The capacity of the borehole and the drawdown expected at 3 different pimping rates are examined.
