Details of the drilling carried out to improve the observation borehole network since June 1967 given. Water level observations are presented in graphical form for a total of 16 observation boreholes and covering the whole or part of the 24 month period from July, 1967 through June 1969. Irrigation patterns result in a yearly periodicity in water levels in most of the boreholes. The overall rise in the piezometric surface during the two year period is not significant but a marked change is apparent near the western boundary of the Waikerie Irrigation Area.
