Results of seismic reflection and refraction profiling are integrated with previous work and 4 shallow stratigraphic wells drilled on seismic targets. Region was divided into 3 sectors for interpretation. North of Coober Pedy but south of Wintinna HS and south of Coober Pedy, crystalline basement is identified with high speed refractor by stratigraphic drilling. North of Wintinna HS a high speed refractor is revealed at 2,000 feet, its origin possibly dense carbonate rocks. Further work is recommended.
