Netley Hill is part of the Anabama Granite, and consists of granite capped with greisen. Preliminary geological mapping, geochemical soil sampling and a reconnaissance induced polarisation survey have been carried out over the hill. Detailed results are not reported, although anomalous concentrations of copper and molybdenum were detected. These appear to be highest in the greisen and altered granite. Further geological mapping, geochemical sampling and IP surveys are recommended.
