The site of a proposed new building for SE Meat (Aust.) Limited was investigated by one cable too hole to 14m. The drilling showed a sequence of fill and Quaternary clay over Tertiary Parilla Sand and Gambier Limestone. Founding of the structure in the Quaternary clay is recommended. Uniformity of the upper surface of this unit should be checked by auger holes or trenching.
