The results of shallow seismic refraction spreads over proposed road cuttings at Willunga Hill, on the Noarlunga - Victor Harbor Main Road 31, (Noarlunga - Mt. Compass Section) indicate that the high velocity basement is well below the depth of cut. All the cuttings are rippable, except the quartzite horizon on spread 3 near the quarry which will require blasting in local areas.
