The lecturers introduced the participants to the fundamentals of language and communication in the field of Geotechnics. Case histories are discussed and practical problems with the aid of aerial photographs are studied. Methods of analysis of geological data are discussed. This includes use of sterographic projection and a statistical analysis of rock slopes.
