RB 74/00178 Oodnadatta town bore 2. Well completion report.

Oodnadatta Town Bore 2 was drilled to supplement the water supply of Oodnadatta, and also to enhance the stratigraphic knowledge of the area. It was drilled to a total depth of 439.48 metres KB, and after pump testing achieved a flow rate of 3.4 l/sec. The bore intersected Cretaceous and Jurassic sediments, and terminated in ?Ordovician quartzite. Permian sediments of the Arckaringa Basin were shown to be absent at this locality.
