A water supply well was completed at a depth of 110 m in a fractured sandstone aquifer. in Cle.land Conservation Park. Aquifer tests revealed that turbulent flow in joints and fractures predominated over laminar flow with increasing pumping rate. Consequently, the equation relating drawdown to pumping rate and time could not be derived. A Transmissivity of approximately 10 m3/day/m was calculated for the sandstone aquifer. A safe yield of 275 m /day is recommended with a pump setting of 100 m.
