In Wilkinson 1 drillhole, 1 carbonaceous drill cuttings sample and 5 drill core samples were examined, and compared with sediments found in the Tallaringa Palaeodrainage System and Wallira West 1. Palynomorphs are present in the drill cuttings from below from 45 m depth. An early Late Eocene age is suggested. Several samples contain abundant kerogen like material.
