Notes: In February 1979 the landowner, Mr. C. Calderwood, pegged Mineral Claim 1105 of 3.5 hectares on section 67, Hundred of Koppio, County Flinders. The dimensions of the tenement are outlined on Figure 1. A shaft on an amazonite-bearing pegmatite marked the site of mining in 1965 and 1966. The deposit has previously been described by Nichol (1974). The present claimholder excavated three cuts with a D4 bulldozer to determine  the extent of the pegmatite. On 6th March 1979 the workings were mapped, using stadia survey, by J.T. Valentine (Geologist), R.J. Harris (Technical Assistant) S.J. Ewen (Field Assistant) and the author, and this work has been used to update Nichol (1974).
