26 hour test has shown that the discharge of the existing pump is very close to the safe yield of the well. Analysis of the drawdown curve shows that a second production well sited 150 metres from the present well in the same fissure system would produce only minor interference with the existing well. Scout drilling on the opposite side of Spring Creek for an additional supply is recommended.
