Based on regional mapping, preliminary maps are presented. The area contains some of the best exposures of Archaean to Early Proterozoic and critical information on missing link (Middle Proterozoic) between Early and Late Proterozoic evolution of the Adelaidean. Palaeozoic and Mesozoic strata are, with 1 exception absent, but the Cainozoic record though complex is well represented. Includes bibliography and summary of previous investigations.
