A feldspar deposit located 1.3 km south of Cathedral Rock and 1.3 km northwest of Drew Hill on Bimbowrie Station was investigated as source of soda feldspar by surveying, mapping and rock chip sampling. A fine-grained albite-quartz gneiss within the Willyama Complex contains inferred reserves of 400 000 tonnes of albite to a depth of 10 metres, plus substantial additional tonnages in separate occurrences along a strike length of 2 km. The albite mineral material fuses above a temperature of 1200 degrees Centigrade, and is grey when fired. Systematic sampling is recommended.
