MC1254, the northern shore of Island Lagoon, contains weathered Corraberra Sandstone Member of the Tent Hill Formation (Adelaidean). Ferruginuous case hardening along polygonal joint sets results in unusual shaped rock fragments. Cavernous honeycombed weathered rock was also observed. Both types of rock fragments are sold in aquarium supply shops.
