A bore (total depth 194 metres), intersected 85 metres of Recent and Quaternary clay and sandy clay, above 109 metres of Tertiary fine quartz sands. Adelaidean bedrock was not intersected. It was completed as an irrigation well with a screen from 129.21 - 132.2 metres within the confined Tertiary fine sand aquifer. The bore has safe yield of 32 kl/hr, with the pump set at 116 metres and produces water of salinity 1 200 mg/l, suitable for the irrigation of grass of medium salt tolerance.
