Fractured rock aquifers were investigated by drilling of 7 vertical holes and 2 angle holes in the Windy Creek area. 1 well was completed as production well with an airlift yield of 12 L/s. The steeply dipping fractured sandstone aquifer responds as a strip aquifer to pumping, resulting in reduced long term yields. At Emu Creek production well 6536WW239 was drilled to replace crooked existing well. Geological mapping and reassessment of previous work has led to the recognition of 3 steeply dipping aquifers.
