The core complex contains carbonate breccia and raft like inclusions of rocks including dolerites. These have distinct magnetic signature and associated gravity effects. Gravity surveys have revealed steep regional gradient characteristic of basement fault. The largest negative anomaly suggests a mass deficiency extending to 1 km in depth associated with diapiric material. Origin of the breccia by diapiric piercement, faulting or sedimentary slumping, cannot be determined. Further geophysical work is recommended to resolve this problem and to test for copper.
