State wide sampling programme has indicated that hydrogeochemical methods are a useful prospecting tool for polymetallic sulphide mineralization. The groundwater generally has assemblage of anomalous heavy metal content near known mineral deposits. Several potential areas are indicated. Further follow up groundwater sampling around anomalous wells, analysis for additional metals and further studies are recommended.
