A set of drill cores of Murray Group limestones spanning 15 metres contains the large foraminifer Lepidocyclina howchini' Chapman and Crespin indicating that the hole bottomed low in Morgan Limestone. Other foraminifera particularly Astrononion obesum' Carter indicate all cores are from Morgan limestone.
