Age determinations on 5 granulites produced a metamorphic age of 1564 - 97 Ma, and an age of 1545 - 73 Ma on 7 gneisses. They do not support previously assigned ages based on lithological correlations, but indicate a metamorphosed ?Early Proterozoic sequence. The Engenina Adamellite, an interpreted syn-orogenic intrusive, has as age of 1641 - 38 Ma. The post orogenic Balta Granite shows an age of 1550 - 1450 Ma.
