Based on 112 drill holes in 1959 and 32 in 1969, proved reserves were recalculated as 44 million tonnes in Lake Purdilla, 1 metre or more thick at average grade of 88.4% gypsum and 6 million tonnes in Lake Toorna, 1 metre or more thick at average...

Based on 112 drill holes in 1959 and 32 in 1969, proved reserves were recalculated as 44 million tonnes in Lake Purdilla, 1 metre or more thick at average grade of 88.4% gypsum and 6 million tonnes in Lake Toorna, 1 metre or more thick at average grade of 85.9%. Reworked dunes contain possible reserves of 0.5 and 0.17 million tonnes of gypsarenite. Further drilling required in lake margins, dunes and topographic depressions. Includes summary logs.
