The aquifers are Adelaidean slates and carbonates beneath 100 metres of dry Mesozoic sediments. 5642WW24 is estimated to have a 100 day yield of 0.5 l/s and 5642WW26 4.1 l/s. The thick unsaturated sandstones in this part of the Great Artesian Basin may be significant to the interpretation of its palaeohydrology.
