Palynoflora from Palankarinna 1 (at 104.9 m depth) is assigned to either the uppermost Phimopollenites pannosus spore / pollen zone or the Appendicisporites distocarinatus spore / pollen zone, of latest Albian to Cenomanian age, terrestrial, probably Winton Formation. Palynofloras from Poole Creek 2 (depth interval 27.8 - 30.9 m) are assigned to the Crybelosporites striatus spore / pollen zone and the Pseudoceratium turneri Subzone b microplankton unit of latest Aptian to Early Albian age, marginal marine, probably Bulldog Shale or Coorikiana Sandstone Member of the Oodnadatta Formation.
