As part of the EWS salinity mitigation scheme this survey was carried out to locate and define zones of preferential inflow of saline groundwater into the River Murray and assess the applicability of transient EM. The method could only locate zone of preferential groundwater inflow but not define its lateral extent without dispute. Future geophysical work should incorporate sirotem for reconnaissance and vertical electrical soundings for detailed follow up of anomalies.
