A high resolution seismic reflection survey was completed by SADME on the SW margin of the Great Artesian Basin near Lake Eyre South. 38.9 line km of data was recorded from 17.9.85 to 14.12.85. Geophysical Service Inc. (Adelaide) were contracted for data processing which was completed on 11.6.86. This report presents details of the operating and processing phases of the survey. The survey forms the initial investigation in a 5-year detailed study of the hydrogeological regime in the Great Artesian Basin. It has provided detailed information on the basin structure and its effects on the basal Cretaceous aquifer being tapped by Roxby Management Services' Borefield-A.
