In the search for groundwater over 90 km, 11 potential sites were selected on geological grounds. The Transient EM (TEM) surveys assessed ground resistivity, initially over 2 pre-drilled test areas. Of the other 9 areas, 6 showed favourable groundwater indications. Subsequent drilling of 5 of these areas resulted in excellent supplies of groundwater in 2 areas and moderate supplies in a third area.
