Special attention was given to the influence of petrographic features on the quality of the rock as a dimension stone. The specimens included granodiorite, adamellite and granite. Foliation varied from moderate to absent. 5 categories of fractures were identified in the otherwise excellent building stone. Physical and thermal shock should be minimized in shaping the stone.
