Since discovery in 1889, 16 390.64 tonnes of ore have yielded 620 829.67 grams of gold bullion, during several periods of operation. Ore has been treated at Peterborough Battery, on site, at Wallaroo smelting Works, and interstate. Small amounts of silver occur in the ore, with 19 224.25 grams being recovered. Includes brief description of workings and contains all known records of ore treated and gold bullion recovered by amalgamation and cyanidation from the mines on this line of reef.
