Palynoflora at the type section 5.5 km SW of Mount Dutton and in the adjacent area are correlated with the Cyclosporites hughesii Zone of Aptian age. They indicate that this interval was deposited under freshwater to slightly paralic conditions....

Palynoflora at the type section 5.5 km SW of Mount Dutton and in the adjacent area are correlated with the Cyclosporites hughesii Zone of Aptian age. They indicate that this interval was deposited under freshwater to slightly paralic conditions. Deposition was contemporaneous with that of the Wyandra Sandstone Member in deeper parts of the basin and the Coffin Hill Member of the Gilbert River Formation in the Carpentaria Basin.
