Gold ore was treated by 5 head stamp battery between 1904 and 1924, then by 10 head stamp battery between 1935 and 1963 on adjacent sites. Tailings are stored on both sites and an indicated total of 13 620 tonnes containing 15.8 kg of gold at an average grade of 1.16 g/t Au remain. Cyanidation leach tests indicate that cyanidation may extract 48.7% of contained gold without grinding and 74% with grinding. Tailings may be treated on site.
