Mollusca recovered by Vibrocore drilling in Holocene sediments of the Saint Kilda Formation in 9 shallow bays on the far west coast are identified and the extent to which they reflect the tidal to supratidal environments in which they were deposited is noted. Most of the 200 species identified were small; many were juvenile. Most belong to living species, but some were described originally from the Dry Creek Sands.
