Synthesis of previous data to provide a stratigraphy of the sites and an attempt to place constraints on the age of units which contain Aboriginal remains. The archaeological remains occur in aeolian sand which forms dunes on the East Bank of the Murray River and a lunette (Roonka Flat dune) resting on upper terrace deposits. Radiocarbon and thermoluminescence dating indicate that aeolian deposition extended from about 27 ka (East Bank) and 18 ka (Roonka Flat dune) to the present day.
