3 wells were drilled to supply the saline side of the proposed dual water supply system. Test-pumping indicated long term yields of 0.4 to 0.9 L/s. 1 of the wells (IND26) has salinity of 900 mg/L. If its salinity does not rise, it should be connected to the fresh water side of the system. Of the 3 types of aquifer (Precambrian, Adelaidean and Ordovician), the Ordovician sandstones have best groundwater prospects.
