A replacement well for Tallowan 1 was drilled 100 metres east of Tallowan 2 to a depth of 72 metres. Production tests showed that the well was capable of producing 3.5 L/s with 6.4 metres of drawdown. Groundwater with a salinity of about 10 000 mg/L is to be used as feed water to the Community RO desalination plant.
