Sixteen rotary holes were drilled between May and September 1983, to depths from 74 to 280 metres. Five were completed in the Murray Group unconfined aquifer and the remaining 11 in the Renmark Group confined aquifer. Potentiometric levels vary from 35 to 70 metres below ground level.
