Regional soil sampling has targeted the pyritic-carbonaceous Cambrian Karinya Shale and rock units immediately above and below it, along with lineament and structural features. Three prospect areas, Frankton, The Gap and Accommodation Hill, have been chosen for immediate detailed soil sampling, ground magnetics and induced polarisation surveys. A fourth area east of Dutton has also been identified for possible follow-up.
