Potential target areas for Mississippi Valley style lead zinc mineralization were drill tested by 31 open drill holes totalling 825 metres. Postulated eastern extensions of low grade, flat-lying lead (-zinc) mineralisation were confirmed at the Eric prospect. Thick Cainozoic cover and poor basement sample recovery resulted in a failure to confirm the presence of Cambrian Wilkawillina Limestone in other areas except at Limestone Bore where the target sequence was intersected at a depth of 80 metres.
