This report provides a summary and index of data from the Lock coal deposit, including initial exploration by SADME in 1976 and later work by ETSA. The data includes all exploration, economic and mine feasibility studies and is held in Envs 3467 and 3904 (EL 280) and Env 3384 (ELs 434, 800 and 1118). Exploration included the drilling of 135 exploration and delineation holes and 3 regional stratigraphic wells. A resource of 320 million tonnes of low grade / low rank (Lignite A / Sub Bituminous) coal of Jurassic age was delineated.
