Holdfasts were installed at Morialta Conservation Park to improve safety for rock climbers. Twenty three rockbolts were grouted into holes drilled into rocks of the Stonyfell Quartzite Formation. Two rockbolts were grouted into cast concrete blocks at sites where no suitable rock anchorage was available. Load tests ensured adequacy of both design and installation. Regular inspection and maintenance is recommended.
