During January 1993, 25 reverse circulation holes totalling 1072 m were drilled in the Maslin Beach Extractive Industry Zone in parts of the zone where previous drilling was very broadly spaced or where samples were of uncertain quality. Based on this drilling it is recommended that estimates of construction sand reserves and the life for the sand deposits be revised.
