In June 1994 MESA drilled a low yielding irrigation well for an experimental/demonstration arid-land horticulture project at 'Endilloe', near Quorn in South Australia's Flinders Ranges. The depth of the well was 94.5 metres and the standing water level was 13.05 metres below ground level. The subsequent discharge test indicated a 'maximum safe yield' of from 136 kl/day for one day's pumping to 69 kl/day for continuous pumping for one year. Water quality was 6100 ECU (3400 mg/l).
