This study was comissioned by BHP Petroleum, Melbourne, and was completed in February 1996. Principal objectives of the study were to apply Geotrack's THR methodolgy to determine the timing and nature of any episodes of heating and cooling affecting the Platypus 1 and Duntroon 1 well sites, and to integrate the THR results with those from other wells in the region. The report provides a thermal history framework for understanding the history potential hydrocarbon occurence in the vicinity of the Platypus 1 and Duntroon 1 wells, Offshore South Australia.
