The palynofloras from eight drill cuttings samples taken from the depth interval 107-181 m KB in SADME Wilkinson 1 are described and dated. The youngest palynofloras are correlated with the Upper Nothofagidites asperus Zone, and are dated as latest Eocene. The remaining palynofloras are probably Permian in age, although only a small number of palynomorphs were identified. Supporting evidence for a Permian age is based on seismic information.
